Inside the Annapurna Region Trek, Annapurna Circuit trek is the most popular and liked by many travelers. Jomsom Trek is an awesome platform for any journey lovers to discover the hidden beauty of Nature.

Annapurna Circuit Trek package begins after sight-seeing the world heritage at Kathmandu. The very next day we drive to Besi Sahar by bus. From Besi Sahar, we incline up to Bahundanda, then to Chamje. Then from Chamje to Chame to Manang. At Manang, we rest for a day to acclimatize ourselves to get some more altitude adaptability inside us. Next day we ascend ourselves to Throung Phedi, then to muktinath, the ancient pilgrimage, passing the Throng-la pass. We then visit our destination “Annapurna Circuit”. We here bring you the Annapurna Circuit trek of 17 days to fulfill your drive of the journey at the utmost level.

Outline Itinerary Annapurna Circuit Trek

Day 01:   Arrival at Kathmandu 1,310m, welcome program by our representative member and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu with Bed & Breakfast plan

Day 02:  Sight-seeing at Kathmandu valley and trip meeting

Day 03:   Drive to Besisahar (6/7 hours) (830 meters) overnight at lodge

Day 04:   Drive to Dharapani in gravel road (4/5 hours) and trek to Temang (2,100 meters) overnight at lodge

Day 05:   Trek from Temang to Chame (2,100 meters) (3/4 hours walking) Overnight at lodge

Day 06:   Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,200 meters) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 07:   Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 meters) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 08:   Acclimatization in Manang we hike little hill and back to lodge. Overnight at lodge

Day 12:   Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720 meters) (4/5 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 13:   Trek from Jomsom to Ghasa (2,500 meters) (5/6 walking) overnight at lodge

Day 14:   Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani (1,990 meters (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 15:   Rest/Spare day in Tatopani. Overnight at Tatopani

Day 16:  Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,810 meters) (6/7 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 17:  Early morning hike up to Poon hill and trek Tikhedunga (1,570 meters) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Day 18:  Trek from Tikhedunga Nayapul (2/3 hours) (1,010 meters) and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel

Day 19:  Half day sightseeing in Pokhara

Day 20: Drive from Pokhara by tourist bus to Kathmandu (6/7 drive) overnight at hotel

Day 21:  Your final departure to Tribhuvan international airport transfer by our representative

Physical fitness

Annapurna region trek is for those who are physically fit and can walk for hours to reach their destination. It is the moderate trek that takes you to the Beautiful Annapurna vicinity after some hours of a walk down to the moderate paths. As some of the places lies in higher altitude, one needs to be physically fit and healthy. Before planning for trekking to Annapurna region, you need to check your physical condition by consulting your physician. Similarly, handling the low air pressure, high winds and low temperatures and also practicing to carry the weight can help you through the trip.

Lodging and food

We will be greeting you at International airport and make your stay possible at one of the 3-star hotels in the town. While you are on the Trek to the base camp, you will be staying at the Teahouses/Lodge. The stay may be twin sharing or single(depends on what you want and it is difficult to find a separate bedroom at high above). Likewise, Access the Asia will take you to the best possible place where you can enjoy the hygienic Nepali as well as International food. Accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner at different areas during trekking and in camping as per the holiday plan will be provided. For the Lunch and Dinner, while staying at Kathmandu, you are responsible for the payment. There will be the farewell dinner with every guest after they return from their Trek.

Best Time to travel

February to Mid June, September – Mid December is the best for climbing up the Base Camp.

Dec & January are cold which can be snowy, July and August are rainy time, trekking can be done, but visibility can be weak due to rain.

Transport

Generally, we offer tourist bus for Trekking to Annapurna region which may take 6 to 8 hours. If you want to travel in private vehicles then we can make it possible but it may take extra charges. Flights are also available.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

The first day as you arrive at Kathmandu you will be received from airport by our company representative and transfer to the hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.

Day 02: Pre-trip meeting and Sightseeing the heritage of Kathmandu Valley

The very next day after you arrive to Nepal our company representative will take you to various renowned places of Kathmandu like Boudhanath, Bhaktapur durbar square, Kathmandu durbar square and Many more for sightseeing. The sightseeing will help you to understand the ancient culture and tradition of Kathmandu Valley. After the completion of sightseeing we will gather together to planning about our trek for the days ahead.

Day 03 Drive to Besisahar (6/7 hours) (830 meters) overnight at lodge

Then we will drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. Besisahar lies at an altitude of 830 meters. It will take 6 hours to reach Besisahar. Besisahar is naturally affluent place to be. Our guide will take you to guesthouse at Besisahar.

Day 04 Drive to Dharapani in gravel road (4/5 hours) and trek to Temang (2,100 meters) overnight at lodge

The next day we will leave Besisahar to reach Dharapani. We will drive to Dharapani. Dharapani lies at an altitude of 1960 meters. The Marshyangdi River will accompany us on our way. The bumpy road will make our journey more exciting and somewhat exhausting. After driving whole day on the bumpy road we will then reach to the Dharapani where we will stay at Guest house.

Day 05 Trek from Temang to Chame (2,100 meters) (3/4 hours walking) Overnight at lodge

The Day 5 will add more excitement in our trip. We ascended to 2650 meters on a 5 to 6 hour walk. Now the view will incline its height as we will be able to see mountains above 7000 like Annapurna II. These views are extraordinary, stunning and an ingredients of lifetime memory. We will then reach to Chame where we will reside in the guest house for rest.

Day 06 Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,200 meters) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

We will start to walk for Pisang this day. To get to Pisang we will pass through several villages and after crossing Barthang we will enter to dense forest with pine forest. Upon on reaching to the hill top, vegetation is ended, walking is straight and wide range of river valley starts. The great view of Annapurna Range can be seen from here. Day 07 Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 meters) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at lodge

The route that follows will ascend us to Manang from Pisang which takes about 4 to 5 hours of Trek. The natural scenery here is outstanding. We can view the beautiful mountain peaks like Annapurna, Pisang Peak and Many more. They are majestic and are really adorable. We will lunch at Braga village and go to Barge monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery of Manang village. Then we will walk half an hour which brings us to the Manang for overnight.

Day 08 Acclimatization in Manang we hike little hill and back to lodge. Overnight at lodge

Day 8 is the rest day in Manang. We will walk to the village, learn about the culture and view the magnificent view of Nature. The day is to be familiar with the altitude. Then we will return back to guest house and rest to gain energy for tomorrow.

Day 09 Trek from Manang to Yakkharka (4,018 meters) (4/5 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Leaving we will reach to Yakkharka. We make the incline ourselves upward steadily through Tanki Manang, crossing Marshyangdi Valley and Jarsang Khola Valley, we will reach to Yakkharka which is situated at an altitude of 4018 meters. There we see will see the proper mixture of flora and fauna. Overnight at guest house

Day 10 Trek from Yakkharka to Throungphedi (4,450 meters) (4/5 hours walking) overnight at lodge

We will walk two hours to cross the river and then climb up to Throungphedi at an altitude of 4450meters. The place has fantastic natural views. Overnight at Guesthouse

Day 11 Start trek early morning And cross to Throung-la pass (5,416 meters) and walk down to Muktinath (3800 meters) (7/8 hours walking) overnight at lodge

At day 11 the trek will add more adventure in our journey and will be a longest trail to walk by. We will wake up early in the morning and walk 3 to 4 hours passing high camp to reach Throung La pass which is at an altitude of 5416 meters. The pass connects the village of Manang, with the temple of Muktinath. We will stay for a while at Throung La pass to view the mountainous majestic scenery. Then we will resume our trek to reach Muktinath then we descend ourselves through rocky mountain, guesthouse, teashop, villages and many more. Then after 3 to 4 hours of walk we will reach to Muktinath a holly pilgrimage of Buddhist and Hindu. Muktinath is the renowned temple of Nepal where every year thousands of people come to worship. Muktinath is derived from the word “Mukti” which means free from sufferings and “Nath” means master of God. It is believed that bathing in Muktinath cleans a person from all the sins he has committed. Overnight at Muktinath

Day 12 Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720 meters) (4/5 hours walking) overnight at lodge

Our next destination will be Jomsom. After leaving Muktinath we will walk along the Shore of Budi Gandaki River. The fresh blowing air of Budi Gandaki will blow our fatigue. The mountain, rivers, birds, rare animals, dry land and other natural diversity are the mesmerizing attribute on the way. Then after 4 to 5 hours of journey we will be Jomsom. Jomsom is a culturally rich place where we can find the culture of Himalayan indigenous people. It is also a good place to understand the Buddhist culture and its influence in the inhabitants of people living in high altitude. Overnight at guesthouse

Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu my tourist bus (6/7) hours. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Final departure Back to your home.

Yes, you will, because you will be trekking in the remotest himalayan region of the world, where you are not familar with its trail, villages, people, and their culture. There, the local people do not speak English much, so you need a trekking guide, who can speak their language and Nepali.

Children under age 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Above this will be accompanied by a guide.

Climbing peak or trekking peak is an easy peak whose summit can be reached within 1 or 2 days. Its height ranges 6000 m plus. Some trekking peaks are Island Peak, Yala Peak, and Mera Peak.

It must include the terms and conditions that you need while trekking in the Himalayan Region in an altitude of 4000 m to 6000 m. Your travel insurance company must provide you Helicopter Evacuation Service. Normally, it will cost you up to US $5000 in Nepal. If you are coming to Nepal for climbing then you must do climbing insurance in your country as well. Carefully check the terms and conditions of your insurance company, especially what they cover during trekking and climbing.

US $ 20 a day is enough to buy a bottle of mineral water, tea, coffee and so on in the remote Himalayan Region.

The trekking guides of Access the Asia are well - trained in the first aid; they also carry the first aid box and do the necessary treatment for you.
